  • 4-day, semi-private lessons (any consecutive 4 days): $750
  • Private lessons, model not furnished: $50 per hour (minimum of 3 hours)

All classes run from 9 to 5 with an extended lunch break. Both sessions include a live model, clay, pedestal, and armature. If you don't have your own, tools are available at a minimal cost. The armatures may also be purchased. Classes are limited to 6 students to allow "one-on-one" instruction.

Classes work with water-based clay and students learn the complete process of sculpting, firing, and patination of the portrait. The process of hollowing the portrait is included on the last day, and the option to leave the bust to dry, be fired, then sent to you is offered at an extra cost. Please contact us with any questions you have.
